Mohammad Murad, an important member of AUR, made controversial statements about the party leadership's negotiations with PSD, claiming that George Simion had proposed ministries in exchange for the vote to invest the Veștea government. Murad states that he suddenly learned that he could become a minister, but he refused the offer, preferring another person for the position of Minister of Economy.

Despite Simion's statements that AUR did not request positions, Murad claims that these ministries would have been used as bargaining chips for influence within the party. He also mentioned that most AUR members were not informed about the voting line, which generated discontent. AUR, on the other hand, claims that all decisions were transparent and communicated within the National Bureau.
