The leader of AUR, George Simion, reacted after information emerged in the public space suggesting that the designated prime minister Adrian Veștea had discussions with parliamentarians of the party to obtain a majority in Parliament.
In a message published on Facebook, Simion stated that the 90 AUR parliamentarians remain loyal to the party and referred to the existence of "traitors" in other political formations. The reaction comes in the context of information suggesting that representatives of the coalition in negotiations have sought parliamentary support, including from AUR. Additionally, the party leadership has conveyed that AUR will not vote for the Veștea Cabinet, and any parliamentarians who support the new Executive risk exclusion from the party.
