Petrișor Peiu: "A firm protest against Russia is necessary every time Russian drones enter our airspace."

Petrișor Peiu, the leader of the AUR senators, stated that Romania must "protest firmly" against Russia in the event of Russian drones entering national airspace.

Peiu emphasized that any drone entering Romanian airspace must be shot down, regardless of its country of origin. He also highlighted the need to find an efficient and economical solution for downing drones, considering the escalation of the conflict in the Black Sea.

"I believe that the war in the Black Sea will escalate, which is why Romania must urgently find a solution for downing drones at a reasonable cost, manageable for a 'strained' budget like ours,” he wrote on Facebook.
