AUR criticizes the Romanian state for its inability to prevent and manage security incidents, after the explosion of the marine drone in the Port of Constanța

The AUR party, led by George Simion, reacted strongly after the explosion of a marine drone in the Port of Constanța, which self-detonated on Friday morning. The Ministry of National Defense confirmed that the drone is of the type used in the conflict in Ukraine. AUR emphasized that Romania is in an alarming situation, considering that this incident occurred shortly after the crash of a Russian drone on a building in Galați.

In a statement, AUR denounced the authorities' inability to prevent and detect such threats, stating that the Romanian state is caught off guard by every incident. The party demanded explanations regarding investments in defense and accused the current leadership of political concerns at the expense of national stability and security. AUR highlighted that the responsibility for this security crisis lies with those in power, in the context of a prolonged political crisis.
