The Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) has issued a warning about a fake Facebook account that uses the identity of its president Alexandru Petrescu to send misleading messages. These messages promote speculative investments in cryptoassets and request personal or financial data. Petrescu emphasized that he has nothing to do with these actions and urged individuals not to interact with such solicitations. ASF recommends checking the authenticity of Facebook pages and reporting fraud attempts.
