The annual study 'Consumer Report', conducted by Data Intelligence and launched by Starcom Romania, highlights how artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming a dividing factor between generations in Romania. Young people and teenagers frequently use AI tools, while individuals over 45 remain largely uninvolved. Additionally, AI adoption is higher in urban areas compared to rural ones. The report emphasizes an increase in the use of AI in video content generation, highlighting the transition from curiosity to active use of technology in daily life.

In 2025, the Romanian market will be marked by a significant transformation, with young people open to experimentation and an increase in digital consumption. The internet is becoming the main space for relaxation and socialization, and young people prefer online content, while families adopt Smart TVs. Smartphones remain the primary channel for banking and socializing, and young people are migrating to platforms like Snapchat and TikTok. Although editorial consumption is declining, young people are accelerating online shopping, being the most active in e-commerce.
