The owners of a massage parlor in Suceava, a 57-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, have been arrested for human trafficking and pimping. They allegedly recruited 17 vulnerable women, promising them well-paid jobs but forced them into prostitution. Under the guise of erotic massages, 70% of the victims' earnings were pocketed by the pimps. The authorities intervened and the two men were arrested and remanded in custody for 30 days.
