Antonia Diaconu, a candidate for the position of chief prosecutor of the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT), proposed a reform in the institution's communication, suggesting the use of social networks to convey information in a more accessible and visual way.
During the interview, Diaconu criticized the current style of DIICOT's press releases, which she considers "boring" and written in a "wooden language." She emphasized the importance of adapting communication to the needs of the modern public, which prefers concise and quick information.
Diaconu mentioned that DIICOT could benefit from a Facebook page, similar to that of the General Prosecutor's Office, to improve interaction with citizens. She also suggested attracting communication specialists and organizing monthly press conferences to maintain transparency and provide relevant information in an attractive format.
