Alexandru Bociu, the president of ANSVSA, emphasized the efficiency of the veterinary health system in 2025, mentioning the intense work done in controlling and preventing food risks. ANSVSA imposed total fines of 89.4 million lei, conducted 258,578 inspections, and withdrew 212,328 kg of unsuitable food products from sale, including 706,916 eggs. The authority continued to combat diseases such as African swine fever and avian influenza, aiming to protect farmers and consumers.

Additionally, ANSVSA expanded the markets for animal origin products in various countries and strengthened cooperation with Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. Furthermore, ANSVSA invested 20 million euros in digitalization and launched information campaigns for citizens.
