The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) has sanctioned Hidroelectrica, PPC Energie and Electrica Furnizare, along with other companies, for various irregularities in electricity supply contracts. Among the problems identified were unclear contract clauses, lack of essential information in offers and delays in issuing invoices. Hidroelectrica received a fine of 10,000 lei for one-off delays, while PPC Energie remedied the issues after a warning. The sanctioned companies are working with ANPC to improve customer service.
