The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) has decided that all shopping malls in Romania must urgently carry out pest control and pest control actions, especially in food service areas, due to reported cockroach infestations. The measure was taken after numerous complaints from consumers and checks that revealed hygiene problems. ANPC president Cristian Piedone stressed the importance of maintaining a clean environment in shopping centers and warned that failure to comply with the rules will lead to severe sanctions.
