ANPC commissioners intervened at the Plaza Romania mall after a 40-square-meter portion of the ceiling detached during a storm, causing flooding in the basement area and the playground on the second floor. The mall was evacuated and temporarily closed, but visitors were not affected. On inspection, the ANPC found that the stormwater system had been repaired and the affected portions had been decommissioned. Representatives of the mall have yet to provide documentation of the incident and the measures taken.
