The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has updated the weather forecast for the period January 26 - February 23, 2026, announcing higher temperatures than those typical for the season in almost the entire country. In the week of 26.01 - 02.02, positive thermal deviations are expected, especially in the mountainous and southeastern areas, with excess precipitation, particularly in the Southern Carpathians. The week of 02.02 - 09.02 will also bring higher temperatures, and precipitation will be around the normal average. In the period of 09.02 - 16.02, temperatures will remain slightly above normal, with a slightly excess rainfall regime in the western and southern regions. The last week, 16.02 - 23.02, will continue the trend of slightly elevated temperatures, and precipitation will also be slightly excessive in all regions.
