The head of ANAF, Adrian Nicușor Nica, stated that the institution will develop a platform for the sale of confiscated products, internally referred to as "ANAF's OLX", as part of a project included in the PNRR. The purpose of this platform is to make the process of selling confiscated goods more transparent, thus eliminating the myth that products are sold under the table. Nica explained that, before putting confiscated goods on the market, ANAF collaborates with other institutions, such as ANPC, to verify whether the products meet quality standards.
Recently, ANAF conducted a large-scale action in which it checked 1100 warehouses, confiscating goods from 30 of them. Additionally, Nica mentioned actions against online fraud, which led to the confiscation of goods and money worth over 40 million lei. These initiatives underline ANAF's commitment to combating illegal trade and ensuring transparency in the management of confiscated goods.
