ANAF has asked former President Klaus Iohannis to pay almost €1 million for income from renting a house illegally retroceded.

Former President Klaus Iohannis has been notified by ANAF to pay almost €1 million from the rental of a house in Sibiu, which was illegally retroceded. The property, rented for 17 years, generated revenues of €260,000-320,000. The courts ruled that the inheritance was obtained fraudulently, and ANAF has now decided to recover the sums, including penalties.
