Amalia Bellantoni, a former member of the SOS Romania party, was detained on Sunday, along with her husband, following an assault on two neighbors, a 66-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man. The two were physically assaulted in the shared courtyard of their building in Sector 2, where they were hit with fists, feet, and a blunt object.

Judicial sources told News.ro that the two detainees are Amalia Bellantoni and her husband. He, along with another man, attacked the Bellantoni family's neighbors and took the phones that the people were trying to use to film the incident.
