Alstom has announced that it will soon deliver the ninth electric train Coradia Stream to Romania, part of an order of 37 trains made by the Railway Reform Authority (ARF). Train number 7 is currently undergoing endurance testing, while train 8 is in the depot for final checks. In the first 12 months of operation, the Coradia Stream trains have covered 446,627 km, equivalent to over 1,000 crossings of Romania. Each train has six carriages, 351 seats, and is equipped with modern facilities, including eco-friendly toilets and a digital passenger counting system. The trains meet European standards and are designed to operate efficiently in all electric power systems across Europe. Alstom continues to develop sustainable mobility in the region, already having sold over 800 Coradia Stream trains in various European countries.
