Drone found on Modern beach in Constanta. Coast Guard intervenes

An alert was triggered today on Modern Beach in Constanta, where a drone was discovered.

Initially, the authorities prepared an intervention for a controlled detonation, but it was later confirmed that the drone did not have an explosive payload. The device was recovered and handed over to the Coast Guard for further investigation. This discovery came in the context of reported drone fragments on the beaches of Eforie Nord and Eforie Sud, and tourists were advised not to touch suspicious objects.

Additionally, another drone fragment was reported in the area of the Casino in Constanta, but this too proved to be harmless. In the past, a Ukrainian maritime drone self-detonated in the Port of Constanta, without causing casualties, but damaging a hangar.

In the Olimp resort, a drone with an explosive payload was pulled from the water by two tourists, who were unaware of the danger, and the authorities' intervention led to its controlled detonation.
