Between 2023-2025, AFIR has registered 2,377 projects, signing so far 583 funding contracts for €110.5 million. The projects are aimed at creating renewable electricity generation capacity for self-consumption in agriculture. The evaluation for the second session is almost completed, with 910 applications analyzed. Florin-Ionuț Barbu underlines the importance of energy independence for farmers.
