An employee of ADP Sector 6 was detained on Thursday on charges of embezzlement, material forgery in official documents, and use of forgery, all in a continuous form. Between December 2024 and August 2025, he allegedly embezzled over 330,000 lei from the institution's funds, creating false handover documents for vehicles towed from public property. The illegally obtained money was reportedly lost on sports betting. The Capital Police conducted searches in Bucharest and Olt County, and the man will be presented to the magistrates with a proposal for arrest. The estimated damage is approximately 331,000 lei, and the charges concern his repeated acts of misappropriation of the sums collected from citizens for the recovery of towed vehicles.
