In the Government meeting on Thursday, Secretary of State Horațiu Cosma (USR) announced the approval of additional expropriations necessary for advancing major road infrastructure projects, despite the resignation of PSD ministers. Cosma emphasized that, regardless of the political situation, things continue to progress, mentioning projects such as the Unirii Highway A8, the Sibiu – Pitești Highway, the Moldova Highway A7, and the Spinuș road junction.

USR representatives stated that each expropriation decision will reduce delays and bureaucracy, accelerating the execution of the works. Additionally, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will continue to govern alongside USR and UDMR, without the support of PSD, announcing interim appointments for the remaining vacant ministries. These measures are part of efforts to develop a modern and functional infrastructure in Romania.
