Accident on the A1 Timișoara-Lugoj Highway: Three people transported to the hospital

An accident occurred on Saturday on the A1 Timișoara-Lugoj Highway between two cars, as a result of which three people were injured.

A 53-year-old man rear-ended a car driven legally by a 60-year-old man. Following the impact, the 60-year-old man and two female passengers, aged 30 and 49, sustained injuries. The Timiș Police confirmed that both drivers were tested with a breathalyzer, and the results were negative.

The emergency lane was temporarily blocked in the accident area, and the police opened a criminal case for bodily harm due to negligence. Authorities continue investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
