A man was injured after a truck hit a van on DN 1, in Vâlcele. Traffic is flowing alternately.

On Wednesday, an accident occurred on DN 1, in the locality of Vâlcele, Cluj County, when a truck hit a van from behind. According to initial information, the truck driver, a 41-year-old man from Cluj-Napoca, did not maintain the appropriate distance from the van, which was stopped to make a right turn. The impact projected the van off the roadway, injuring its driver, a 50-year-old man from Florești, who was transported to the hospital for medical care. Rescue teams managed to extract the injured person from the van, who had multiple injuries but was not trapped. Breathalyzer tests showed negative results, and the police continue investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident. Traffic in the area is alternating.
