On Friday, on the A2 highway, in Călărași County, a traffic accident occurred involving three cars. At the scene, the police discovered a deceased person, an 83-year-old woman, a German citizen, who was the mother of the driver. The man was transporting her in the back seat, trying to avoid the high costs of repatriation. The accident happened when exiting a gas station, and the investigation was taken over by the police of the Criminal Investigation Service, under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office next to the Călărași Tribunal. The autopsy confirmed that the woman's death was caused by pancreatitis.
