Access restricted in the Piața Presei Libere Passage on the nights of April 21-22 and 22-23, 2026

Metrorex announced that access in the Piața Presei Libere Passage will be restricted on the nights of April 21-22 and 22-23, 2026, between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM, for the installation of topographic measurement equipment in the area of the future metro station Piața Montreal, part of the Southern Section of Line 6.

These works involve the installation of topographic benchmarks for the structural monitoring of the passage and the buildings in the area of influence. Outside the mentioned intervals, traffic through the passage will proceed normally, and traffic on the roadway outside the passage will not be affected. The works will take place at night to minimize the impact on road traffic, and the signaling will comply with legal requirements. Upon completion of the activities, traffic will be reopened, and road signaling will be restored.
