The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, has signaled an alarming situation at Jurilovca beach in the Danube Delta, where a private owner has installed a fence for hundreds of meters, restricting public access to one of the most popular beaches in Romania. This action has led to blocking access for thousands of Romanians, sparking outrage and controversy.
In light of this situation, Buzoianu urgently requested the Danube Delta Administration to conduct a control to assess the legality of these measures and ensure respect for the right to access the beach. This issue raises important questions about the management of natural resources and the rights of citizens in the face of private property.
