A 42-year-old man from Săcele, Brașov County, has been placed in preventive detention after being identified as involved in the robbery in May 2025, when thieves stole 20,000 euros and gold jewelry from a residence. This is the third suspect caught, after the other two were arrested earlier. The robbery occurred when the three forced the access door of the property, and the arrested man was allegedly monitoring the area to help his accomplices escape. The police conducted searches at his residence, seizing items relevant to the investigation. The two accomplices, convicted for theft and other crimes, are serving sentences of 6 years and 3 years and 6 months in prison. The police continue the investigations to take the necessary legal measures.
