On Monday morning, the police in Dolj County discovered the body of an 84-year-old woman in a marshy area outside the village of Perișor. Her disappearance had been reported on Sunday evening by a neighbor, who noticed that she had not returned home. The victim had no relatives or next of kin. The body was transported to the morgue for an autopsy, and the police opened a criminal case for manslaughter, continuing the investigation to determine the circumstances of the death.
