In the last 24 hours, the mountain rescuers in Romania have carried out emergency interventions to save 52 people in difficulty in the mountains, according to information provided by Salvamont Romania. The National Salvamont Dispatch received 53 calls for assistance, and the rescue teams managed to help a significant number of people.
Of those rescued, 14 required medical transport to the hospital, being taken over by the SAJ, SMURD, or Salvamont ambulances. This activity highlights the importance of the rapid and efficient interventions of mountain rescuers in mountain emergency situations.
