In the context of the liberalization of the electricity market, the government is introducing 50 lei vouchers to help vulnerable consumers, estimating that more than two million households will benefit from this support. The application to sign up is active and applications can be submitted online or handed in at the town hall. The main condition for receiving the voucher is that income must not exceed 1,940 lei for single people and 1,784 lei per family member. Applications are verified in real time through official databases.
