The Mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță, announced a proposal to reduce public transport subscriptions (STB and metro) by 50% for residents of this sector. The measure, aimed at supporting residents in the context of rising fuel prices, will be discussed in an extraordinary meeting of the Local Council.


The reduction will apply for six months, with a limit of 100 lei per month. Beneficiaries must have their residence in Sector 4 for at least one year, be employed for a minimum of three months, have a net income of a maximum of 5,000 lei per person or 10,000 lei per family, and must not have debts to the local budget. Eligible individuals cannot simultaneously request transport and fuel assistance.
