A 4-year-old girl from Teleorman was brought in critical condition to the Emergency County Hospital in Târgu Jiu, after her mother reported that she fell from bed. The girl had multiple bruises and a severe cranial trauma, and doctors suspected that the injuries could not have been caused by a simple fall.

After stabilization, the child was transferred to the Marie Curie Hospital in Bucharest, where she is in extremely critical condition.
