At 11:02 on Thursday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 took place in the Vrancea seismic zone at a depth of 140 km. The quake was felt near the cities of Focșani (48 km W), Buzău (51 km N), Sfântu-Gheorghe (70 km SE), Brașov (77 km E) and Ploiești (82 km NE), according to the National Institute for Research and Development for Earth Physics.
