A 3-month-old girl died of hypothermia in Gaza, being the ninth child to die due to the severe cold this winter.

A family from the Daraj neighborhood in Gaza found their 3-month-old baby frozen in their makeshift tent on Tuesday morning, after their home was destroyed during the war. The girl's father stated that she died from the cold, and doctors at Al-Ahly hospital confirmed the death due to hypothermia. The family, which also includes seven other children, is among the hundreds of thousands of people living in precarious conditions in tent camps, exposed to the cold winters in Gaza, where temperatures drop below 10 degrees Celsius at night.

The Ministry of Health reported that the baby is the ninth child to die from severe cold this winter. In the context of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Donald Trump plans to establish a new Peace Council, while Israel continues to demolish the headquarters of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, accused of being biased against Israel.
