A large operation by the police and DIICOT led to the arrest of 22 individuals suspected of forming an organized criminal group, pimping, and human trafficking. Following the searches, investigators confiscated large sums of money and goods, estimating the damage at millions of euros. The group, consisting of over 30 members, sexually exploited women abroad, obtaining significant profits, which were reinvested in luxury goods. A police officer was allegedly involved, providing confidential information to protect illegal activities.
