A 2-year-old girl died in November in a dental office in Bucharest, following a general anesthesia. The internal investigation of the clinic showed that the facility did not have an operating license, with responsibility falling on two colleagues with administrative duties. They allegedly did not inform the management that the health authorization had not been issued. Representatives of the clinic claim that the doctors were unaware of the lack of authorization and are not responsible. The contract of the responsible manager has been terminated, and the activity of the location remains suspended. The clinic is cooperating with the forensic and criminal investigation and is awaiting official conclusions.
