A 14-year-old girl from Timișoara was transported Monday morning to the 'Louis Țurcanu' Children's Hospital after ingesting several Nurofen tablets during class hours. The incident was reported via a call to 112, and police officers and a medical team quickly arrived at the sports program high school where the event took place.

The minor was medically evaluated and, although she ingested nine tablets, her hemodynamic state was stable. No gastric lavage was performed, and the girl was sent to Child Neuropsychiatry for further evaluations. The police are conducting checks to establish the circumstances of the incident, and the Timiș County School Inspectorate has been informed. Similar cases of medication ingestion among young people have increased recently, highlighting a broader issue of mental health and safety among adolescents.
