The Rolling Stones have confirmed the cancellation of plans for a tour in stadiums across the UK and Europe in 2026, due to guitarist Keith Richards' inability to commit to the project. Although the band has completed a new album with producer Andrew Watt and intended to support a tour, Richards, who turns 82, has expressed concerns about the rigors of a long-term tour, given his difficulties singing due to arthritis.

Although he had a successful recent appearance, it does not compare to the demands of an extensive tour. The band has undertaken frequent tours in recent years, but the itineraries have shortened as the members have aged. However, a new album is expected to be released next year, thanks to the fruitful collaboration with Andrew Watt, who has revitalized the group.
