Lionel Richie, the famous singer aged 77, was hospitalized after a concert held on August 30 at Muny, an outdoor amphitheater in Saint Louis, Missouri.
The artist requested a chair to perform his last song, "All Night Long," visibly weakened, and made his way to the medical unit for tests on his own.
According to sources, Richie is being treated for possible dehydration, but no serious issues have been identified.
Although he feels well, he hopes to be discharged soon.
This is not the first emergency situation for the artist this summer, as he had a similar incident in June.
Richie has about ten concerts scheduled until the end of the year, including a series of shows in Las Vegas and a concert in Brazil, but the impact of his hospitalization on these events remains uncertain.
