The drama "The Pitt", starring Noah Wyle in the lead role, received 13 nominations at the 2025 Emmy Awards and won the award for Best Dramatic Series. Wyle, also nominated for Best Actor, expressed his joy after 30 years in the industry, stating that he did not expect such recognition. The competition was fierce, with "Andor" and "The Last of Us" having 14 and 16 nominations respectively, while "Severance" led with 27 nominations.
The series "Adolescence" also received eight awards, with the young 15-year-old star, Owen Cooper, winning the award for Best Supporting Actor.
