Paul McCartney will have a documentary titled "Man on the Run," which will explore his solo career after the breakup of The Beatles. Scheduled for release on February 25, 2026, on Amazon Prime, the film will be available in 240 countries and territories, following a limited theatrical release. The documentary, directed by Morgan Neville, includes never-before-seen archival footage and reflects on the challenges McCartney faced in the 1970s when he formed the band Wings. The British artist, at the age of 83, shares his uncertainties and how he managed to revive his career. Additionally, a book written by McCartney, "Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run," will be released on November 4, and a partnership with Universal Music and Amazon will bring exclusive tracks in 2026.
