Salvador Plasencia, the doctor suspected of exploiting Matthew Perry's ketamine addiction, will plead guilty to distributing the substance. Perry died in October 2023 from an overdose. Plasencia faces up to 40 years in prison, while another doctor, Mark Chavez, admitted involvement and faces 10 years. The investigation revealed that Plasencia distributed 20 vials of ketamine to the actor, who relapsed into addiction. Other suspects, including a known trafficker, are also being prosecuted.
