"Press Permit", a bitter yet amusing volume about true journalism and its foolish relatives, was launched on November 13, 2025, at the Cărturești Module in Bucharest, priced at 63 lei. The presentation made by the author – which also included a short stand-up journalism segment – lacked the usual solemnity of such events and was, thanks to Horia Ghibuțiu's wit, entertaining, with smiles often appearing not only on the faces of the audience (some spectators laughed outright) but also on those of the guests Alexandra Tănăsescu (CulturaLaDuba.ro) and Cătălin Tolontan (HotNews.ro), present in the "presidium".
The book with quirky covers is dedicated to the author's life partner, Silvia, has 336 pages, and a structure that includes a foreword, four parts, and an epilogue.
"With all the lamentation you will encounter in the texts, I do not complain at all about the state of the press. Rather, I amuse myself, discreetly, at the comedy generated by human nature, which I sincerely and neutrally wish for you, like the ideal press," summarizes Horia Ghibuțiu at the end of the foreword titled "Journalism in the Age of Superficial Intelligence".
