In mid-October, Bucharest is preparing for a weekend with cold and wet weather, but full of interesting activities. The Zării Specialty Coffee café in Cotroceni becomes a meeting place for students, while the Olari Garden serves lamb pastrama, marking the beginning of the cold season. At the J’ai Bistrot Garden, dishes cooked over a wood fire bring authentic autumn flavors.

Cultural events include the SwordS Festival at Control Club, which combines poetry and performance, and SHORT – the Short Prose Festival at Cărturești Verona, where writers from abroad gather for readings and discussions. The National Library hosts the SURSA – Light Art Festival exhibition, while Alternosfera and Robin and the Backstabbers offer electrifying concerts.

The Act Theatre presents the premiere of 'Improbabil', exploring the fragility of relationships, while cinemas launch various films, from comedies to thrillers, including 'Good Fortune' with Keanu Reeves and 'The Forest is Mine', a Romanian comedy. This weekend promises a combination of gastronomy, music, and art, making Bucharest a vibrant place to explore.
