Antonio Banderas participated in the Turin Film Festival, where he shared details about the biographical film "Tony," dedicated to Anthony Bourdain. The actor mentioned that the filming took place over a month and a half in locations such as Cape Cod and Newport, where he had a challenging experience, being constantly surrounded by the smell of fish. Banderas will play the role of a Brazilian mentor who helps the young Bourdain, portrayed by Dominic Sessa. The film will explore the difficult years of Bourdain's life, including struggles with depression and addiction. Additionally, Banderas discussed the influence of mentors in his career, recalling meetings with the legendary Paul Newman, which marked his professional journey. The film "Tony" could be released in the first part of next year, but the exact date has not yet been announced.
