Valencia announced on Monday that it has sued Netflix, claiming that a documentary from the platform contained false information about the club. In a statement, Valencia said that the documentary wrongly accused a large group of Valencia fans of making racist chants against the Real Madrid striker during a La Liga match in 2023. Valencia filed the lawsuit after public requests for correction made by the club to the production company of the documentary were not fulfilled.
