University of Craiova plays on Wednesday for qualification in the third preliminary round of the Champions League

Universitatea Craiova meets on Wednesday, at 20:30, the Bulgarian team Levski Sofia, in the second leg of the second preliminary round of the Champions League, after losing 0-1 in the first leg. The team coached by Filipe Coelho needs a victory to stay in the race for qualification, and a success would bring them a duel with the winner between Omonia Nicosia and Kairat Almaty.

At the same time, qualifying for the third preliminary round would guarantee Universitatea Craiova's presence in the UEFA Conference League group stage, regardless of the results in the following rounds.

In the event of elimination, the team from Bănie will continue in the third preliminary round of the UEFA Europa League, where they would face the Finnish team KuPS Kuopio.
