Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed the transfer of Savinho, a 22-year-old Brazilian, from Manchester City, for a fee of 75 million pounds (87 million euros), plus 10 million pounds (13 million euros) in bonuses.
Savinho has signed a 5-season contract and stated that he is excited about the opportunity to work with one of the best coaches in the world. In the previous season, he played 36 official matches, scoring four goals, but he did not manage to establish himself in the starting eleven at Manchester City.
Coach Roberto De Zerbi highlighted the player's qualities, mentioning that he can bring creativity and energy to the team. Additionally, Tottenham has already spent over 350 million euros in this summer transfer window and could reach 400 million euros, considering a possible deal for Egyptian Omar Marmoush. Savinho could make his debut in the match against Charlton Athletic in the English League Cup.
