The 2026 season of Formula 1 will begin this weekend with the Australian Grand Prix, including 24 races, of which six will also feature sprint races. The new season marks a significant change in the sport, with important modifications to the cars, including a more efficient engine and a revised chassis, which are considered the biggest innovations in recent decades. World champion Lando Norris will compete with the number 1 on his car, after winning the title in 2025, putting an end to Max Verstappen's dominance. The cars are now smaller and lighter, with a balanced distribution between electric power and the combustion engine, and they use sustainable fuel. Additionally, the Pirelli tires are narrower, and the old DRS system has been replaced with active aerodynamics, allowing for better control of the performance of the cars.
