Simone Tempestini won the Argeș Rally dramatically, beating Norbert Maior by just 0.5 seconds after an intense duel over 133 kilometers of special stages. With a total time of 01:13:38.9, Tempestini managed to recover a deficit of 9.5 seconds in the last stage, the longest of the competition, where he was 10 seconds faster than Maior. In the end, Tempestini stated that he experienced one of the most intense moments of his career. On the other hand, Maior admitted that it was painful to lose the victory in the last kilometers, but he appreciated the show put on for the fans. This is Tempestini's third victory in the Argeș Rally in the last four years, and he remains the leader in the championship after the first three stages. His next challenge will be in Sweden, at the second round of the European Rally Championship.
